Recruitment Grapevine – One in Five Fails Probation
This is a costly reality for employers who have invested resources recruiting, inducting and training new employees. Recruiting people who fail to live up to expectations causes disruption within teams and adversely affects productivity.
A solution to this problem would be to carefully examine the recruitment processes in place. Introducing assessment methods that look beyond simply testing competence are proven to be more reliable and those that provide an insight into personality and capability will ensure those recruited ‘fit’ within the organisation and offer skills for the future.
